PetWaits is operated by ZHANG LINGQING, an individual operator in mainland China. These terms cover petwaits.com, the PetWaits desktop app and related services. By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
PetWaits creates a digital desktop pet from your pet photo. Each purchase includes one pet and the default animations and singing, dancing and work companion features expressly listed on the product page. This is a digital product, not a physical animal. Some features require the desktop app or a separate learning step.
Use an accurate email or an authorized Google account and keep your credentials secure. Purchasers must be adults with legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
One payment provides one pet creation entitlement. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic recharge. The checkout shows the price, currency and applicable taxes before you authorize payment. Future price changes do not change paid orders. Closing a page or changing devices does not remove a confirmed entitlement from your account.
For orders purchased through Waffo Pancake checkout, Waffo Pancake acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment, applicable transaction taxes and receipts under its checkout terms. Payment methods are those displayed at checkout. Other orders use the provider identified on their payment page, including the existing ZPay/Alipay channel. We do not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.
Payment confirmation unlocks creation; the finished pet is not delivered instantly. Upload a suitable photo and follow the account page for progress, estimated timing and required actions. The completed pet is delivered to the same account for download in the supported PetWaits desktop app. Check the download page for current system requirements. We do not guarantee an exact likeness, identical AI results, or perpetual cloud hosting.
If creation fails or you are not satisfied with the result, you can request a full refund. Use the refund option shown on the page when available. For dissatisfaction, contact support and we will handle your request manually. Confirmed duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected.
Email us with your account email, order or transaction reference and the issue. For Waffo orders, contact us promptly, preferably within 14 days of payment, because its standard refund interface has a 14-day limit. This processing limit does not remove mandatory consumer rights or our duty to remedy non-delivery. Approved refunds return to the original payment method; acceptance by a provider is not confirmation of funds arriving, and timing depends on the provider and bank. Contacting us does not restrict your right to seek help from your bank or a consumer authority.
Upload only photos you own or are authorized to use. You retain your input rights and grant us a limited license to process, store and transmit inputs to service providers for creation, delivery, support and security. We use third-party AI services, including ByteDance/Volcengine Seedream for images and Seedance for supported dance generation. AI output may contain defects and is not professional advice. Without explicit permission, we do not use your photos or pets for our own model training, advertising or public examples. You may use delivered content subject to applicable law and third-party rights; AI copyright or exclusivity is not guaranteed. Our software and brand remain ours. We operate independently of these AI providers.
Use the service for lawful pet creation and companionship. Do not upload, generate or use the service to produce any of these six categories: pornography or sexually explicit/NSFW content; graphic violence or gore; hate speech or incitement against protected groups; child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAM), including sexualized depictions of minors; deepfakes or impersonation of real people; or content infringing copyright or trademarks. Illegal, non-consensual intimate, fraudulent or privacy-infringing material is also prohibited. Do not attack the service, bypass safety or payment checks, or collect other users' data.
We rely on the content-safety filters provided by our underlying AI services, including Seedream and Seedance. Inputs or generated results that trigger a provider's safety rules may be rejected or withheld. These filters have limitations and do not guarantee detection of every prohibited item or infringement. If you believe a rejection or other safety decision is mistaken, contact us for review.
The service does not provide a public gallery or let users browse each other's creations. To report a safety issue in your own generated result, make an infringement complaint or appeal a safety decision, email hello@petwaits.com with a description and the relevant task reference or evidence available to you. Do not seek access to another user's private content. We review the relevant information, may ask for clarification and take appropriate action, such as rejecting a request, removing confirmed prohibited content under our control or restricting abusive use. We will communicate the outcome by email; you may reply with further evidence to request reconsideration. We also review how any action affects an undelivered paid order, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
The linked Privacy Policy explains processing and deletion requests. We take reasonable care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect losses; mandatory rights and liabilities remain unaffected. You may stop using the service and request account deletion by email. If we discontinue a paid creation service before delivery, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, subject to mandatory protections applicable where you reside. Contact us to seek a resolution; unresolved disputes may go to a competent authority or court. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email before taking effect and will not retrospectively reduce rights under existing paid purchases.
